CROWS NEST HOUSE

The owners came to us with a plan to turn their two bedroom, semi-detached house into a family home by adding an additional bedroom and creating an open plan kitchen, living & dining area to the rear of the property.

 

To meet their brief, much of the house was demolished, excluding the front room, hallway and front façade, which allowed us to maintain the more prominent, original features.

 

The addition is distinct from, but complementary to the original dwelling, acknowledging that old and new can live comfortably together.
